Bio


Carissa Shipman is an experienced high school science teacher with a demonstrated history of working in secondary and higher education and research in the natural sciences. She has been tutoring students online and in person since October 2017. She is skilled in teaching high school biology, AP biology, environmental science, chemistry, marine biology, college biology and electives. In addition, she has experience in public museum engagement, is known worldwide for her research on colorful, nudibranch sea slugs, and has described new species. She possesses a Masters in Biology, with a concentration in Marine Biology from the California Academy of Sciences and San Francisco State University and a secondary science teaching certification from the University of West Florida.

Bio

Christopher Sernaqué is a Nationally Certified Psychiatric Technician, former Telescribe for the Urology Clinic of the University of Michigan, and Crisis Counselor who studied Psychology and Forensic Science at Ashworth College, Integrative Mental Health at Texas State University-San Marcos, and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has obtained a Higher Education Teaching Certification from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University and is a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society. He will soon graduate from the Educational Psychology Doctoral Program at the European International University-Paris.
